| Monsignor Chittooaparambil, the Bishop-elect of the Diocese of Rajkot visited His Eminence Varkey Cardinal Vithayathil yesterday. Monsignor sought blessings from the Major Archbishop. Bishop Thomas Chakiath and Bishop Sebastian Adayanthrath were present on the occasion. Monsignor Chittoparamban will be ordained Bishop on 11th September 2010 at Rajkot. Bishop Thomas Chakiath will represent the Archdiocese on the occasion. Bishop Chittoparamban belongs to the Neeleeswaram parish in the Archdiocese of Ernakulam-Angamaly. |
